Riley got an extra special suprise on Labor Day! Her Uncle Chris came to see her. She warmed to him right away and wasn't shy at all! I was very surpised because usually it takes her a little bit to get used to strangers. She immediately let Chris pick her up and was pulling on his nose and everything!
The whole family went to the beach for Labor Day and we had an awesome time. Riley got to play with Uncle Chris in the ocean, in the sand AND he took her for a walk on the beach to watch the seagulls. It was really cute. Later, Uncle Chris stayed at our house until about 5 to spend some time with Riley. They watched a video together and she cuddled up in his lap with her blanket. When the video was done, Chris read her some books and they played. It was so fun to see the two of them acting so goofy.
We love you Uncle Chris! Come and see us any time.
WOW - Chris looks great!! What a great surprise...I am so glad he was able to spend some time with Riley - and all of you! I know you miss him. Riley is so blessed to have so many people in her life that love her so much - and what a sun and sand lover that girlie is!!
