Fun with Daddy and the Yellow Hat

Recently Bob, Riley and I were walking through Wateford and we popped into the Dollar Store. We then picked up this firefighter hat for Riley and she was rockin it on her head for a while at home :-) See below!

Standing on her tiptoes here :-)

Then she said, "Mirror....mirror," and I told her to go to the mirror on her door. So here she is walking down the hallway to the mirror on the back of her door :-)
Examining herself in the mirror :-) She left very little room for her eyes to see out, ha-ha :-)
Smiling now :-) Guess she likes what she sees!
Then she brought it to daddy and said, "Daddy put on. Daddy put on." So Bob was a good sport and put the hat on :-)
Then I went ahead and attached a few pictures of one night when Riley was trying to climb on Bob's back :-) Notice Elmo was trying to get in on the fun by bringing Bob "the squeeky" :-)
Riley LOVES riding on backs!
She's like, "Go Daddy! Go!"
Then Bob gave out and collapsed, hee-hee :-) Riley is definitely much heavier than she used to be!
Daddy is definitely a fun play buddy and great trooper :-)

Olive Garden with Grandma :-)

A few weeks ago we met Grandma at Olive Garden and had a nice lunch together. Riley was wearing the outfit Grandma bought her too! So cute :-)
Here she is coloring on the menu while waiting for daddy to show up from work.
" Do-do-do....minding my own business."
Grandma joins so I snap a picture of the two of them :-)
Awe :-) Great smiles!
She was in LOVE with the Sprite she got to drink.
Me :-)
Guzzling Sprite!
Still...
Guzzling...
Racing her red car while we waited for Daddy and the food.
Having fun sitting next to Grandma!
I think either the food had come or breadsticks and salad. You can see she is waiting with eager anticipation for SOMEthing to drop on her plate!
Kinda gross picture :-) She wanted to show us her food :-) Chocolate mints maybe?
Close up :-)
Time to leave! Daddy helped her walk outside.
I snapped a couple pictures of Grandma, Riley and Bob :-) Riley will say, "CHEESE!" really great now but she doesn't quite have the, "must look at the camera and say CHEESE" part down yet.

Thank you Grandma for a yummy lunch! We LOVE Olive Garden!! Definitely a fun and nice treat :-)

Great Outdoor World and Fudruckers!! :-)

Last weekend we did one of Bob and I's favorite things to do! We went to the Festival Bay Mall where there are all of our favorite stores! Okay well mine is Fudruckers so not really a STORE but still my favorite!

My mom's hubby Chuck called and said that he wanted to take all of us out for a night of fun on him and we were like,....YAY! A night of fun? And it's free for us? That's AWESOME! Thank you so much Chuck!! We were totally stoked :-)

So my mom and Chuck arrived right after Riley's naptime around 3:30ish. Then we drove 2 separate cars out to the Festival Bay Mall. Our agenda? First Bass Pro Shop aka Great Outdoor World, then possibly Monkey Joes where Riley can bounce her little heart out and then Fudruckers for dinner! YUM! My favorite!

Here is a picture of us outside of Great Outdoor World :-) Have I mentioned that this is a guy's DREAM WORLD? If you like well....let's see...hiking, camping, fishing, boating, hunting, paintballing, shooting, bow and arrows or airsoft stuff, then this is your store!! It has a WIDE ARRAY of cool stuff and Bob and I really enjoy ourselves when going there! :-)
Here is my goofy mom taking a picture of Pa and Riley looking at the ENORMOUS fish tank inside the store. Riley always LOVES this part!
I think that fish is over half her size!

Admiring all the fish in the tank :-)
It was REALLY crowded since it was a Saturday night. Everyone on earth was there!
Part of the neat factor of the store is the layout and how it's all displayed :-) Riley LOVED climbing this ramp back and forth!
They have a really cute kid's section with adorable clothing and toys. This part was new so we hadn't seen it before. I think it's funny that both of the adult guys are standing next to the "KIDS" sign :-) Like they are big kids themselves!! Which I know for a FACT my hubby is :-)
LOTS of stuffed animals in there. Riley was really entranced!
Pa had fun showing her the various ones :-)

Riley was OBSESSED with this toy and carried it ALL over the store! You pull the stick out and then shove it back in and it makes the cap pop off! We later found the bin with these and they actually had pink cameo ones as well! So Bob and I snuck it into a bag and now it's sitting in my "Christmas gift bin" for her for Christmas!

Looking around
Walking across the bridge again!
This is only 1 corner of this enormous store! It's HUGE!! Bob and I had gone to the section with all the safes in it. He and I are s-l-o-w-l-y saving for a save for his guns! So far they are hidden but definitely need to eventually get a safe.
The camo section in this store is incredible!
Next we went inside this tent that had 3 different sections in it! I'm not much for camping (give me a hotel room any day) HOWEVER if I was going to camp, this is definitely the way I'd do it!
Riley was staring at these lights I think :-)
Riley was completely taken by the tent. She LOVED it! We stayed in there for quite a few minutes just hangin out.
Pa was being silly :-)
Taxidermy!
Awe :-) Such a sweet Nana and Pa Riley has!
Next we left Great Outdoor World and headed to Fudruckers! We spent so much time in Great Outdoor World and didn't have quite enough time for Monkey Joes...which was fine by us! Riley had already done SO MUCH running around and was a total wild woman! :-) She LOVED this bridge with the waterfall nearby. I think she ran over it like 10 times. We also had to stop and let her throw pennies in the water :-)
Taking a brief rest :-)
They also have this HUGE western store with tons of boots and cowboy stuff. We stopped briefly to let Riley sit on the bull. Here is a cute shot of ALMOST everyone on the bull! Nana was a bit afraid :-)
Love this shot :-)
There is a platform right next to the bull so you can easily climb on. Riley pretty much enjoyed going up and down the stairs and just hangin out on the platform! :-)
We told Riley to raise up her arm and she did! Perfect shot! :-) All she needs is a lasso!
This picture is from the other camera :-)
Then we headed to Fudruckers! This was waiting in line. Nana had her eyes closed in this one but Riley was smiling!
Then Nana opened her eyes for this one but Riley looked away :-)
The cutest couple :-)
Riley was thrilled with the booth we chose. It was round and huge so she could move all around in it. Here she was staring at the pictures and when I called her name she looked and I snapped this :-) Her blue eyes look HUGE here!! Like saucers!
Sweaty with a bit of disheveled hair but very happy :-)
Kiss for Nana!...while trying to look at something :-)
After our scrumptious burgers (and hitting up the condiment bar several times), Riley got her free cookie that comes with the kid's meal. She stared at the sprinkles for a full 2 minutes before she took her first bite! She is obsessed with sprinkles! It's always the cookie she picks to eat at Publix when we go get our free cookie :-)
Nana was like, "Ooooooh, WOW!"
As you can see, the cookie was almost as big as her head! :-)
Thank you so much Nana and Pa for a wonderful, fun and adventuresome Saturday night! And thank you Pa for treating all of us to a yummy dinner. So scrumptious and such a nice treat! Another fun night to tuck into the memory books :-)
