Riley at Disney Continued

Here are additional pictures of our trip to Disney :-) Some of these may be repeated because there were SO MANY pictures that it's hard to remember which ones have already been posted!

Riley was starting to get a bit sleepy here so Bob was holding her for a bit.
She liked being in her daddy's arms :-)
This was us leaving Adventureland and heading to lunch!
I packed Riley one of those frozen Smuckers p&j sandwiches. They're great because they thaw out over a 30 minute period and then you can eat them! Bob's mom bought us lunch and it was yummy!
This had to be one of the best parts of our day. Mickey and Minnie have a show that goes on right in front of Cinderella's castle so we got there just in time after lunch. The show included Goofy, Donald Duck, Mickey and Minnie, one of the evil witches from a Disney movie and 3 sets of princesses and princes. So cute!
The dancing was amazing!
I think the current color scheme must be blue and white :-)
Riley was completely blown away by this show. It's the first show she's ever seen first of all and second, she LOVES Minnie Mouse! Her face was a mixture of awe, wonderment and puzzlement.
She was THRILLED when Minnie and Mickey came out :-) As you can see, she was holding on to Bob's face for dear life though. She normally doesn't sit up there but the crowd was huge and she never would have been able to see from the stroller or one of us holding her.

One of the many faces of Riley while she was watching :-) This looks like her mouth is wide open in amazement!
She's super tickled here, hee-hee :-)
At the end of the day, Bob's mom bought Riley a HUGE balloon that was like, as big as Riley's entire body. I seriously don't know how this guy was holding all of them because the weight of each balloon was quite a bit as well!
Here is Bob's mom buying the balloon. The guy had to search to find the last pink one!
Riley was in awe of her balloon. She's holding it and still looking at the HUGE MASS of balloons the guy was holding.

She's going, "Bop! Bop!" It's a game she and I play when we have balloons :-)

Pointing to the other balloons
Daddy with a tired baby
We stepped in a HUGE gift shop store and I went hunting for baby shower gifts while Bob and his mom took Riley to the stuffed animal section.
She LOVED Nemo
She ended up with Nemo and a baby Donald Duck! Thanks Grandma!
Now we are all set to go. We have our balloon, Nemo, Donald Duck and lots of fun memories from the day!
A picture as we are leaving and getting ready to go on the monorail
One more :-)

Walking to the monorail
Riley is looking at the doors closing and wondering what on earth she has gotten into again
Here she is staring VERY intently at everything passing by as we are starting off.
Bob is being silly here and Riley is loving it!
Kissing Nemo
Hiding from Nemo :-)
Well that concludes our trip to Disney! For our next trip we are really hoping to take Riley to Hollywood Studios (formally called MGM). I guess they have an entire new section for all Mickey Mouse Clubhouse lovers. And WOW does Riley LOVES Mickey Mouse clubhouse! Hollywood Studios actually built a huge Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and they let the kids come in and dance away! There is a song that's called "The Hotdog Song" and they play that and have one big dance fest! There's a few other characters that come out too but I'm not sure who. I know Riley will totally LOVE doing that so we'll have to take her soon.
The weather here today is absolutely GORGEOUS! I think Spring has finally arrived...yay! Now that it's warming up, I'll hopefully get a lot more pictures outdoors and Riley enjoying this nice weather. One thing for sure is that she is DEFINITELY an outdoor baby like her momma! I lived outside growing up and I hope she is able to enjoy the outdoors as much as I did. The one thing I can't WAIT to do are the many splash parks around here! That and the beach of course :-) I think she is really going to get a kick out of the beach this year. Now to find her a bathing suit that actually covers some skin! I think I might go online and visit coolibar.com again. They have great UV protection outfits and the shirts and shorts are just what I was thinking to protect that fair lil white skin :-)
Hope you are all having an awesome weekend!

Lunch with Daddy and Grandpa

Recently Grandpa and Grandma came into town and took Riley to Hotdog Heaven to eat lunch together. I had some things I had to get done so it was nice to have the baby break. Bob left work at 11:30 and met Grandpa, Grandma and Riley at the notorious Hotdog Heaven located here in Orlando. Let me tell you, if you like Chicago style hotdogs prepared "all the way," this is the place to go!
Riley sat really well in a stool this time and mainly ate the french fries. She also enjoyed feeding Grandpa french fries as well! See below :-)

Biking Together :-)

An afternoon bike ride the other day was just what Riley needed to cheer up :-)

As you can see in this picture, she is still not quite too happy yet
She's thinking, "What IS this pink thing? I suppose it's kinda pretty."

Sunglasses!
Daddy is trying to strap on Riley's helmet here

She's thinking, "Um daddy, what on earth are you doing?"
Bob is looking at Riley and smiling to try and reassure her. Then he pops the sunglasses on and they lasted about 2 seconds. A cute vision in pink!

And now the sunglasses are off. By the time we got to the lake, Riley had huge tears rolling down her cheeks, not from crying, but from the wind! It made her eyes water like crazy!

Valentines Pictures

Okay so I just realized that I completely forgot to post Riley's Valentines pictures! I was looking through the HUGE folder of her at 19 months (am still behind on my picture posting) and I found the Valentines pictures I neglected to post! Yeesh I am behind.

Anyways, MiMi sent this awesome Valentines package with so many cute Valentine gifts AND an adorable outfit that I just melted over so I wanted to post pictures of Riley in her cute lil outfit.
For starters though, here is the gorgeous rose that Bob bought me for Valentines Day:

Riley and I ready for church
Riley is trying to escape here so she doesn't have to wear her jacket
She got pinned by daddy though and he put her jacket on. Now she's like, "Mommy, up! Up!"

After church, we let her play for a bit before naptime

Contemplating...
I love how her little leg is stretched out here...like she's almost posing
So then she took a nap after lunch and playtime. Later when she got up, we went to the park for a bit. It was still chilly outside so I took her skirt off and put jeans on her. Here she is on the swing. She LOVES the swing!
Looking at the big kids next to her and squealing

Airplane! Airplane! She's making the "p" sound with her lips
Daddy helped her on the climbing stuff

We went home afterwards and I gave Riley and Bob their couple V-day gifts. Riley got a lion that I've had in storage for a YEAR! It was a Hallmark clearance item and it growls and yells when you pull his tail. Riley LOVED it!
She's going, "Yay! Yay!"
Laughing at the lion
Bob opening his card from me

Riley brought the lion in her favorite car where she watches most of her videos from now
Chillin with my pink lion in my pink car
Bob got a battleship puzzles book for the bathroom, hee-hee :-) There was also a shirt but I didn't get a picture of that.
Next, I gave Riley some pink and purple bangle bracelets. She LOVED them! She kept saying, "So pretty! So pretty!"

I found these really cheap Valentine balloons at Walmart for a dollar so I picked up a small pack of them. Bob is blowing one up in this picture and Riley is standing far off watching him. She's not sure what to make of it.
Bob is being a goofball here and trying to stand on one to pop it. Would you believe that thing didn't pop?!
Riley is astounded by this
Bob is now laughing
I have to say that we had a BALL with those balloons. We played, "Try to keep the balloons on the oponents side only" game. Both of us were going crazy trying to hit the balloons on each other's side. Elmo was barking like crazy and Riley was running around swatting them. It was hillarious! Then we played, "Blow the balloon up and then let it go to see it sail around the living room and Elmo go NUT-ZO trying to chase it!" That was a riot. I have never had so much fun with a few goofy balloons! Riley LOVED hitting them and slapping them and I felt like a kid cause I was laughing hysterically at all the crazy things Bob was doing. He kept rubbing the balloon on my head and Riley's head to get MAJOR static going and then he kept trying to run behind me with one balloon under my butt so I'd sit on it and pop it. He was literally trying to pull me down on the carpet and I was SCREAMING cause I HATE when balloons pop! So he was like, holding it under my rear and trying to pull me down! I was laughing and crying at the same time. It was hillarious and SCARY! (shudder-shudder)
Okay so those were the highlights of our Valentines day :-) There were some not so exciting things that happened also like our garbage disposal breaking and thereby affecting us using the dishwasher AND the sink cause of the HUGE LEAK. We had dirty dishes everywhere, a huge leak under the sink and no running water in the kitchen. AND I had to learn to make stuffed shells and cook and entire NEW meal using the guest bathroom sink. THAT was fun. But hey, I'm not complaining because we got through all the icky stuff and it still managed to be a fun day after all.
Disney pictures to come but I'm waiting on the rest from Grandma before I upload them all! Should be sometime next week that I get them all up. For now, I'm exhausted! Chasing Riley around Disney is tiring. Off to bed I go!
