Auntie Katie Visits!

Recently my sister came over for a visit and Riley and her were playing on the floor together. She can be such a ham with Riley and it's hilarious to watch the both of them! Okay so warning,...you will see 2 butts in the upcoming pictures! One is very small and cute and one is well, a normal adult butt and cute! Ha-ha :-) Katie told me I could go ahead and post cause it just really captures how Riley loves to copy her "Auntie Katie."

In this first one they are just lying on the floor together :-)
Then they are doing horsey together :-)
Posing for the camera :-)
Here is the butt picture! Ha-ha :-) I thought it was SO CUTE how Riley had to put her legs in the air JUUUUUUST like Katie! They were both laughing hysterically and it was awesome!
Riley then rolled away and hung out in the corner for a minute :-)
Love you Auntie Katie!

Saturday Morning with Nana, Pa and Aunt Brenda

Last Saturday Bob had a motorcycle ride all morning with the guys from church so Riley, Elmo and I went to my mom's for breakfast and it was SUPER yummy :-) Big breakfasts are one of my favorite things. I LOVE eggs, bacon, grits, pancakes, sausage, etc. You name it; I LOVE it! So we went to my mom's house and she made almost ALL of it! The best part were the chocolate chip pancakes. Riley and I DOWNED those. So did Aunt Brenda and my mom. They were definitely popular that morning :-)

Here are some pictures from last Saturday morning!

Aunt Brenda came over early and she brought her little buddy Emma! Toby was back at home because Toby is VERY old now. Emma is young and super sweet but she was terrified of both Riley AND Elmo. She's very young so still super shy. Here Riley was entertaining both Chuck and Brenda :-)
Sippin her juice box (they were bogo at publix this week cause I got some too!)
Okay I have no makeup on here and pretty much look like awful but I was getting ready to walk on my mom's treadmill in the back bedroom. So I pretty much came over lookin yucky.
Awe :-) Emma lovin on her mommy :-)
My mom bought Riley this keyboard from a garage sale and although it shuts off every few minutes, Riley has a BALL when it's actually on and working! She sings into the microphone and shouts all kinds of songs!
Here she is singing next to me :-)
Riley is hiding behind the leather chair pointing at a picture of Auntie Katie :-)
More singing!
Eating the keyboard? Not sure what she's doing here :-)
So Riley started to realize that when she tickles Aunt Brenda, Aunt Brenda will start to squeal and laugh hysterically! So Riley would walk up and tickle her and Brenda would peal out in laughter. It was hillarious! I think this took place over a period of 20 minutes. Riley just kept on tickling and tickling. So cute :-)
Riley is standing there laughing with her hand suspended over Aunt Brenda. She was already laughing before she had even touched her :-) Just the anticipation made her laugh.
Emma looked so cute all cuddled up next to Aunt Brenda.
When Emma first came over, she went and hid on the ONLY piece of carpet in my mom's house, underneath my mom.
Reading time with Pa!
Time to eat! I wasn't going to post this picture because of how AWFUL I look but I couldn't resist because of Riley's ADORABLE face! I need to figure out how to crop cause her smile is so cute :-)
All of us eating!
Riley was extremely happy with being the center of attention at breakfast.
She kept posing for the pictures. Hee-hee :-)
Later after breakfast, we went to a park nearby my mom's house. I took Elmo walking and Nana and Pa took Riley to the park for a bit.
She loves the slide!
She is getting so strong and very agile!

Towards the end she was getting a bit hot and tired :-)
Exploring everything!
Very good climber these days!
This was a little jumping thing that she LOVED!
Jumping!
Nana pushed her on the big swing for a bit.
She used to be terrified of this type of swing!
Then she went in an AWESOME swing that she loved! The last time she rode in one of these was when she was in Virginia. They had a swing very similar to this one. So cute!
Another "foot picture" that my mom took...hee-hee :-)

Overall a fun and relaxing Saturday morning! Thanks Nana and Pa for the super yummy breakfast!

Grandma and Grandpa Visit

Recently Bob had some AWESOME stuff to do at his job and got to be in a commercial actually! It will be aired on Torque tv but not sure when so I'll have to ask him and see. He has had some really neat opportunities and along with that, he was able to get his dad in the commercial as well!

So anyways, his parents both came up for the day and came to visit one afternoon on the day before the commercial. They spent some time with Riley and brought steaks which was really nice! Here are some pictures from that afternoon :-)

Bob is grilling away here on the steaks!
Riley decided to keep daddy company while he grilled.
Hasn't her hair gotten long?
Playing with Grandpa!
Climbing!! Her favorite thing to do! And something I no longer allow her to do on me :-)
I got a free $5 coupon for Kohl's and decided to go get Riley some hair stuff. I always see her little friends with all these cutsie hair things so I went in search of something cheap and free! I found these little hair ties with bows attached :-)
These were taken after nap. Grandma went in with her camera to snap some pictures :-) I think at first Riley was like, "What's going on?" She looks a little dazed here :-)
THEN came the smile :-) Notice she has to sleep with Mickey, Minnie and Donald while sleeping. I thought about adding to her collection for Christmas and getting Goofy and Daisy so she'll have the whole set! :-)
Chalk time! When Riley wakes up in the afternoon, a lot of times she and I will go sit out front in the driveway and color with chalk. I spread out a towel and we color all sorts of things. Her attention span isn't very long though and this usually lasts MAYBE 10 minutes. Really I'm just trying to kill time before daddy gets home :-) That last hour can be LOOOONG sometimes! :-)
Riley, Grandma and I went to Target for a bit and walked around. Riley got some new brown sandals in size 9! Can you believe it? Her feet are growing so quickly! Thank you Grandma for the cute shoes! Below is a picture of her in the dollar section...Riley and I's FAVORITE section :-)
I don't know what she's got in her hand here but she has that look like, "Oooooh, I just found a really kewl treasure that I will never let go of!"
Trying on the new shoes!
Reading with Grandpa! Riley LOVES to read so she will totally sit in your lap and read for a good 20 minutes. After that she usually starts to stir quite a bit. But hey, I'm just glad she's becoming such an avid reader!
Overall another fun day with Grandpa and Grandma!

p.s.-Currently while I'm writing this I'm listening to my little sweet pea cough like crazy in the monitor. She came down with a bad cold last night and today her nose turned a really ugly green. Say a prayer for her if you think of it! I never like to see my baby girl sick :-(
