Sweet Face :-)

Thought I would post a few of these adorable faces of Riley :-) This was at the park with her friends one day. She was peeking through a hole in this tube and I couldn't resist snapping a few pics! Hope you have a wonderful week! :-)

Lil Buddies :-)

These two little girls are not only neighbors but also best lil buddies! Recently Keira's dad built her a small pirate ship in their backyard (awesome, right?!) so Katie, Keira's mom and my sweet friend, invited Riley and I over to play and explore this awesome new creation! Riley absolutely LOVES boats, planes, trucks, cars, etc so this was RIGHT up her alley. Here are some pictures from that fun afternoon :-)

When she first climbed up on the pirate ship, she was all about hopping all over that thing. Notice the cute wheel Jason (Keira's dad) included!

Katie's backyard looks out over a lake (SUCH a gorgeous view!) so Riley took the periscope and was looking out over the water :-)

Fun with Auntie Katie, Nana and Pa!

Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a fantastic week :-) It has just been absolutely gorgeous weather here lately so Riley and I have been spending TONS of time outdoors. Spring is definitely here! (I also know this because everything is pollenating and Bob's allergies are going crazy!) I've got lots of great pictures of all the various things we've done so I'll have to get hopping on posting those and the other gazillion pics I have :-) I actually had some uploading problems for a few days so gave up on blogging but I finally figured it out. I had actually run out of storage space for pictures on my blog! So nuts that they only allot you a certain amount of storage space for pictures. Anyhoot, it's settled now and I can finally keep uploading...yay!

It's 9:40pm right now as I type and I am SO unbelievably tired but deep sleep is just a myth for me anymore. My big belly makes it difficult to find a comfortable spot and I can't sleep on my back (I am SUCH a back sleeper!) so my sides have been hurting from all these countless days of sleeping on my side. And between Jack kicking me like crazy and having to go to the bathroom every couple hours, well, I usually end up tossing and turning. I have found that my stomach feels better after I've rested it though. I think the muscles are being stretched to the MAX and enjoy when I lie down and the reprieve of not having to hold something up and straight out! :-) So I say all that to say it's late so I'm going to be brief and type this and then go jump in bed and rest my stomach...OR so I can start the tossing and turning process, heh-heh. One thing I will NOT be sad to see go are all the extra pillows thrown aroud me in an effort to help me get comfortable!

Anyways, I've been meaning to post these for a couple weeks now. These were taken a while back by my mom and Chuck when they watched Riley one afternoon/evening. Katie accompanied them and it looks like they all had a great time! I totally realized (too late) that I was uploading backwards so the pictures are completely out of order...yeesh. I'll add captions though so you can read what's going on :-)

This was dinnertime at Tiajuana Flats...YUM. Riley always has fun going there and as you can see, is totally mesmerized by the tv. Usually they have sports on so she watches with Pa. Her favorite part of the entire experience? The chips (minus the salsa for her) that come at the beginning of the meal! Bob and I LOVE their queso too...so awesome.

As a side note, when Riley was a baby, her favorite thing to do was stare at the ceiling in this place. The reason why? They have these mult colored fans all over with multicolored lights that spin on the ceilings and as a baby, Riley was always FASCINATED by them! :-)

I think she must have just taken a huge swig of drink here cause her face was a bit flushed. It tends to get a bit pink after she's downed a REALLY cold drink :-)
This was back at the house where Riley and Auntie Katie were doodling on her Aqua Doodle mat. Katie called me earlier in the evening to tell me that Riley was doing the most bizzare and hillarious thing ever! She would grab Katie's face, pull it toward her, latch on to both sides of Katie's cheeks with her hands, press her nose into Katie's and then scream, "Surprise!!" really loud. Katie would crack up and then so would Riley so then Riley would do it again! She kept doing it all throughout the night and Katie found it to be hysterical so she called to tell me about it :-)

Right after doing, "Surprise!" I think she's staring at Katie's big, white shiny teeth :-)

Had just finished being goofy and was then mesmerized by the Thomas the Train show. Riley is in LOVE with Thomas and seriously could play with the trains ALL DAY. She has a small plastic Thomas set and loves to play with it :-)

This was WAY later after the park, Tiajuana, playtime at the house and then bath. As you can see, she was wiped out!

Auntie Katie hadn't seen Riley's big girl bed before so she had fun snuggling with Riley for a few minutes before she had to go to sleep.

Okay so this was WAY earlier in the day! Pa, Nana and Katie took Riley to the park by our house. She had so much fun! I think Pa was trying to get in the picture here but didn't quite make it :-)

On the teeter totter with Auntie Katie! Looks like the weight needs to be a TAD BIT more evenly distributed :-)

Katie was walking on the balance beam and Riley was hitting the other end and saying, "Auntie Katie, walk to here! Walk to here Auntie Katie!"

I feel badly cause lately Riley has been asking me to lift her LOTS and I just can't as much anymore with my stomach muscles stretching! So glad Auntie Katie can do things like this with her :-)

More teeter totter and this time with Pa to help! When Bob and I go, Riley and I sit on one side and Bob bounces us up and down usually pretty hard. It's so fun and usually makes me laugh hysterically cause of the funny feeling I get in my stomach...kind of like the laughing Katie is doing now! :-)

Fyi-Wednesday at 3:30 I go for my 30 week ultrasound to see if my placenta has moved. I'll keep you all posted! Hopefully it has so I don't have to have a c-section. I am excited to see Jack again though and will be sure to scan the ultrasound pictures and post them on here! Love you all!

A-Hoy Mates! :-)

Recently one of Riley's friends had a pirate themed birthday and Riley got these ADORABLE keepsakes to take home with her! Her absolute favorite were both the hat and the periscope. I mean to tell you, she is OBSESSED with these 2 toys! I seriously would love to throw her a pirate birthday party in June but seeing as how I'm going to have a 6 week old, I don't think I'll be up for any party throwing at MY house. May have to do something simple like Chuck E Cheese or something, just because I'm sure I will be feeling incredibly sleep deprived at that time!

Anyways, she was strutting around the house last week and having a BALL with her hat and periscope so I thought I'd snap some pictures of her being super silly and cute :-) Here is her first pose with the hat. She was in love with this thing! I think she would have slept in it if she could, ha-ha.

She was adjusting the string under her hat but it almost looks as if she's posing with her hand under her chin :-)
